Jeep Inspired & American Made

About Us

American SoundBar is a premier audio manufacturer and distributor specializing in Jeep Overhead Aftermarket SoundBars and Custom Build-Outs. American SoundBar was established in 2016 by Armando Molina with the idea to create a more modernized and efficient design element to the existing factory Jeep sound bar. We manufacture our products in Stroudsburg, PA, USA; which symbolizes the highest quality and durability with respect to our customers needs and expectations. Our custom design soundbars cater and fit perfectly on all Jeep models ranging from the TJ/YJ, JK/JKU and JL/JT Gladiator.

Our Story

Armando Molina, our CEO/Founder had a vision for his Jeep to create a “kick-ass, obnoxiously loud” soundbar which would aesthetically fit in the Jeep overhead without taking away space and comfort for passengers in the 2nd row. Inspired by his Puerto Rican heritage, Armando traveled to Puerto Rico and consulted with the best audio fabricators known in the Jeep industry. In 2016 he released his first soundbar prototype made out of fiberglass. Being self-funded, Armando took the risk and started manufacturing his soundbars in PA, USA and advertised on social media as American SoundBar. Spreading the word through his Jeep build-out consultations, he realized the quality of the sound was being compromised by the material of the fiberglass soundbar. With extensive testing and research he redesigned a new upgraded JK/JKU soundbar. Armando’s passion and love for customizing Jeep build-outs for clients created an overwhelming demand for his JK soundbar. With his attention to detail and a passion his customers' needs and expectations has always been his priority. Mostly recently, Armando has extended his product design to fit all Jeep models including the TJ/YJ and latest addition JL/JT Gladiator, which are scheduled to debut in late April, 2020. American SoundBar is now known worldwide for being the highest in durability, quality and affordability in the Jeep audio industry. And just to think it all started as an idea for one personal Jeep.
